As a true animal lover, it is ʜᴇᴀʀᴛʙʀᴇᴀᴋɪɴɢ to see an animal in ᴘʀᴇᴅɪᴄᴀᴍᴇɴᴛ or ᴅᴀɴɢᴇʀ. No matter what we’re doing, if we’re already late for work, have an important call to make or really anything, we will drop it all to stop and lend a hand. It’s just what we do!
This is exactly why we can fully sympathize with Imgur user Honeyflowers. This man was walking on the street when he came across a ʜᴏʀʀɪꜰʏɪɴɢ scene. A cat is lying on the cement floor covered in ʙʟᴏᴏᴅ. The ᴘᴏᴏʀ cat was probably ʜɪᴛ by a car in the parking lot and definitely needs ᴜʀɢᴇɴᴛ ᴍᴇᴅɪᴄᴀʟ attention.
Honeyflowers immediately ran to the cat, but what happened was not what this person thought. Those ʀᴇᴅ sᴛʀᴇᴀᴋs are just shards of ʀᴇᴅ ᴘᴀɪɴᴛ that has dried and the cat accidentally lies on it. It was a ʜᴇᴀʀᴛ-sᴛᴏᴘᴘɪɴɢ phase, but Honeyflowers felt very lucky that the cat was not ɪɴᴊᴜʀᴇᴅ at all.
