A Cat Comes To See A Girl Next Door Almost Every Day For 2 Years Because Love
No love is as sweet as a cat’s love. It’s not about doing intense and steamy Frech kiss, it’s about pure and tender Eskimo smooch! Ever since he laid eyes on her almost 2 years ago he has been her number one fan and follows her everywhere. He even makes house calls!
Sophie is a rescue cat and was adopted back in 2014. “I remember when I first started taking her out on the leash, Scottie would come over and watch from across the lawn or driveway without coming too close,” says Sophie’s human mama.
Christiana, Sophie’s human mom, witnessed it all. She usually walked Sophie on the leash in the yard, where Scottie the cat laid his eyes on the mysterious girl who had stolen his purring heart from the start.
“Sophie was too busy for him… but soon he became bolder and would sit closer like he was waiting for an invite to join in. Sophie didn’t seem to mind he was there as long as she didn’t have to pay attention to him much.”
It took Scottie a few weeks to muster the courage to introduce himself to the one who caught his attention. “His persistence started paying off and soon Sophie came to expect him on her adventures and allowed him to sit with her,” she told Love Meow.
Fast forward two years, the two are inseparable. “They are so cute together. Whatever Sophie does, he does too.”
“Scottie really is the cutest ‘boy next door’ neighbor. All he ever really wanted was to join in and be pals….Well…and maybe a quick kiss.”

“In the morning the first thing I do is open the door for Sophie to be able to see into the backyard… many mornings [Scottie is] outside and they watch each other from [their] yards.” – She said.
Scottie was so in love with Sophie, he knew how to steal his future mother-in-law too. Every morning, Scottie patiently waited for Sophie from below her family’s balcony.
As a routine, whenever they met in the backyard, a nose kiss was a must-have ritual to start a strolling date with Sophie. Scottie nailed it all the time, he also pleased his girlfriend by “following whatever she ends up doing.”
Sophie was gone. But the precious memories of Scottie and his later girlfriend will always be in his heart and soul. Christiana now is living with another kitty named Louie. Hopefully, Scottie will come out and play with him like the way he used to do with Sophie!
Two years later and this attractive couple are now inseparable.
